Ellen Anderson
Ellen grew up on a farm in the small town of Stillwater, Oklahoma then moved to
the city of Tulsa where she served 11 exemplary years as a patrol officer
with the Tulsa Police Department.

Ellen later wed Alaska photographer & news correspondent Cary Anderson after he proposed
marriage during a rattlesnake photo shoot in Apache, Oklahoma.
She moved north to Alaska in 2001.

Aside from assisting on news and photography assignments, Ellen has worked as
an assistant farm manager
at the Musk Ox Farm in the Matanuska Valley. 
In her spare time, she enjoys taking pictures and catching salmon.
